It's Summer 2024 and I have the head down writing a memoir. I've been spurned on by the success of my one-woman show Am I Irish Yet? Telling my personal story of growing up Irish in Thatcher's Bombing Britain has opened a vein in me and re-introduced me to my tribe of people with Irish hearts and English accents.
The book, like the show is about identity, loss, belonging and finding a place to call home - in the world and in your own heart. It's taking time because - shows are selling out and I want to get to meet as many of you in person as I can. Too much work. High class problem for a writer. Thank you so much to all my loyal readers - old and new for showing up for me.
